Common questions
Do we need our own Twilio account?
Clinics can use platform-provided Twilio or configure clinic-level overrides. Templates and event toggles are always per clinic.
Is WhatsApp included?
Yes — WAHA WhatsApp WhatsApp (available globally), Twilio WhatsApp, or Meta WABA. SMS shares the same event engine.
Are messages PDPL-compliant?
Consent and opt-out should follow your clinic policy. Clinit records SEND_PATIENT_MESSAGE in the audit log for every attempt.
What about Telegram?
Telegram is for staff clinic linking and ops alerts — patient reminders use SMS/WhatsApp.
