One engineer. Three years watching Cairo clinics struggle with software that slowed them down. Clinit was built on a whiteboard inside a working dental clinic — every screen tested with real doctors, real patients, real frustration.
The real story
Omar Sharafeldin spent years as an engineer watching Egyptian clinic owners lose 2–3 hours a day to admin work that didn't need to exist. He saw the same problems everywhere: appointment books on paper, lab requests lost on WhatsApp, billing done in Excel the night before.
He built the first version of Clinit inside a real dental clinic in Cairo — testing every screen with actual patients, not mockups. If a feature didn't make a doctor faster or a patient's visit better, it didn't ship.
That approach still drives everything. Clinit is used by doctors across Egypt and the wider MENA region who say the same thing: "It just works."
