Pediatrics Module
WHO growth charts, MOH vaccination schedule, milestones, Bhutani bilirubin, and weight-based dosing.
WHO growth charts
Growth measurements are plotted against WHO 2006/2007 reference standards:
Weight-for-Age (0 to 10 years)
Height/Length-for-Age (0 to 19 years)
Head Circumference-for-Age (0 to 5 years)
BMI-for-Age (2 to 19 years)
Weight-for-Height (2 to 5 years)
Each measurement displays:
- Z-score and percentile calculated in real time
- Trend line across all recorded measurements
- Flags: Z-score below -2 (underweight or stunted) flagged in red; Z-score above +2 (overweight or obese) flagged in amber
Enter measurements in the Pediatrics Check session tab.
MOH vaccination schedule
The Egyptian Ministry of Health 2026 EPI schedule is pre-loaded. Due dates are calculated from the child date of birth.

Weight-based dosing calculator
200+ paediatric drugs with age and weight-based dosing ranges:
- In the session Rx tab, click Dose Calculator.
- The patient current weight (from latest growth record) is pre-filled.
- Select the medication.
- The safe dose range is shown in mg/kg and the calculated dose in ml based on the concentration entered.
- Click Use This Dose — the prescription is pre-filled with the calculated amount.
BSA-based dosing is available for chemotherapy agents — enter height and weight to calculate Body Surface Area automatically.
Bhutani bilirubin nomogram
For neonates requiring phototherapy assessment:
- Patient Profile > Pediatrics > Bilirubin.
- Enter the total serum bilirubin (TSB) in micromol/L or mg/dL.
- Enter the postnatal age in hours.
- The Bhutani nomogram classifies the result as:
- Low risk (below 40th percentile)
- Low intermediate risk (40th to 75th percentile)
- High intermediate risk (75th to 95th percentile) — phototherapy threshold
- High risk (above 95th percentile) — immediate phototherapy required
The phototherapy threshold line is displayed based on gestational age and risk factors.
