Severity scoring tools

Eight validated scoring systems tracked longitudinally:

PASI — Psoriasis: Erythema, Induration, Desquamation, Area across 4 body regions

EASI — Eczema: Severity and Area across 4 body regions

SCORAD — Atopic Dermatitis: Objective and Subjective subscores

DLQI — Quality of Life: 10-item patient-reported questionnaire

IGA — Psoriasis and Eczema: 5-point global assessment

VASI — Vitiligo: Body area involvement

UAS7 — Chronic Urticaria: 7-day activity score

mTSS — Psoriatic Arthritis: Joint damage score

Scores are plotted as trend charts per visit. DLQI questionnaires can be sent to patients to complete before their appointment via the patient portal.

Body map

The anatomical body map allows precise lesion localisation:

  1. Click on the body diagram to pin a lesion location (anterior and posterior views available).
  2. For each pin: set lesion type (Macule, Papule, Plaque, Nodule, Vesicle, Pustule, Ulcer, Scale, Crust), size in mm, colour, and free-text description.
  3. Attach a clinical photo directly to the pin.

Pins are colour-coded by lesion type. The map is stored per session and shows changes over time.

Clinical photo timeline and before/after

  1. In the Photos tab, click + Upload or use the device camera.
  2. Tag each photo with: body region, lesion ID (linked to body map pin), and date.
  3. The Before/After viewer compares any two dates side by side — drag the slider to reveal the comparison.

All clinical photos require patient consent. A digital consent record is created automatically when the first photo is taken.

Isotretinoin monthly monitoring

Monthly safety monitoring for patients on isotretinoin:

  1. Enrol the patient from their Dermatology tab > + Enrol in Isotretinoin Programme.
  2. Set the current dose (mg/day) and cumulative target dose.
  3. Each month record: liver enzymes (ALT, AST), lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides), pregnancy test for female patients, and side effect score.
  4. Clinit flags abnormal results against iPLEDGE / Roche thresholds.
  5. A monthly monitoring report is generated for the patient file.

Females of childbearing potential: two negative pregnancy test confirmations are required before the next prescription can be issued.

Treatment packages

Pre-paid session bundles (e.g. 10-session laser hair removal, 6-session chemical peel course):

  1. Clinic Management > Clinical Catalog > Treatment Packages > + New Package.
  2. Set package name, number of sessions, total price, and expiry period.
  3. Assign a package to a patient from their Dermatology tab > + Assign Package.
  4. Each time a session is used, click Use Session — the package countdown decrements.
  5. A progress bar shows remaining sessions.

Package revenue is recognised per session used, not at time of sale, for accurate P&L reporting.
