Tooth chart, BPE, implant registry, orthodontic cases, hygiene recall, and lab tracking.
Tooth chart
The SVG tooth chart supports both FDI and Universal numbering systems — toggle in the chart toolbar.
32-tooth adult dentition plus deciduous chart:
- Click any tooth to open the Tooth Detail panel
- Status options: Sound, Decayed, Missing, Filled, Crown, Implant, Extracted, Root Canal, Veneer, Bridge Abutment
- Surfaces: Mesial, Distal, Occlusal, Buccal, Lingual, Incisal
- Free-text notes per tooth
- All conditions are colour-coded on the chart and persist across visits
BPE periodontal charting
BPE (Basic Periodontal Examination) records scores for 6 sextants following the AAP 2017 staging system.
- Click BPE in the chart toolbar.
- Enter scores 0 to 4 for each sextant (upper right, upper front, upper left, lower right, lower front, lower left).
- Sextants scored 3 or higher are automatically flagged and a periodontal referral is suggested.
- Full probing depth recording (6 points per tooth) is available for patients requiring detailed periodontal charting.
BPE history is saved per visit. Click History to compare scores across dates.
Treatment planning
- From the tooth chart, click + Treatment Plan.
- For each planned procedure, click the target tooth and select the treatment (e.g. Composite Filling Mesial, Crown PFM, Root Canal Treatment).
- Set CDT code, priority (1 to 3), assigned doctor, and estimated cost.
- Click Generate Quote — an A4 printable treatment plan PDF is produced with itemised costs and a patient sign-off section.
- Send the plan to the patient via WhatsApp or email.
When a treatment item is completed in a session, click Mark Done — the plan progress bar updates automatically.
Lab request tracking
- In a session or treatment plan, click + Lab Request.
- Select the lab from your registered labs list.
- Choose the procedure: Crown, Bridge, Aligner, Denture, Implant Crown, Inlay, Onlay, etc.
- Enter the shade and expected return date.
- Click Send Request.
When the item is ready:
- Mark it Received from Lab Requests in the sidebar.
- The treatment plan and a WhatsApp notification to the patient update automatically.
Implant registry: stores lot number, manufacturer, batch, and implant type for every placed implant. Searchable by batch for recall management.
Hygiene recall
The hygiene recall system tracks which patients are due for scaling and polishing.
Default recall interval: 6 months from last hygiene appointment.
The recall list is sorted by priority (longest overdue at top).
Click Send Recall to send a WhatsApp message directly from the recall list.
Bulk recall: select multiple patients and click Send Recall Campaign.
Recall intervals are configurable per patient: 3, 6, or 12 months based on periodontal risk.
