Cardiology Module
Risk calculators (SCORE2, GRACE, CHA2DS2-VASc), cardiac studies, device registry, and GDMT tracker.
Risk calculators
Seven validated clinical risk calculators with plain-language narratives:
SCORE2 / SCORE2-OP (ESC 2021) — 10-year CVD risk, treatment threshold
GRACE 2.0 (ACC/AHA) — 6-month mortality after ACS
TIMI STEMI (Antman 2000) — 30-day mortality in STEMI
TIMI NSTEMI/UA (Antman 2000) — 14-day MACE risk
CHA2DS2-VASc (ESC 2020) — Stroke risk in AF, anticoagulation decision
HAS-BLED (ESC 2020) — Bleeding risk on anticoagulation
HEART Score (Six 2010) — MACE risk in chest pain presentation
All input fields are pre-filled from the patient latest vitals and chronic conditions. The narrative output references the relevant ESC or ACC/AHA guideline section.
Cardiac studies
Attach and organise results for:
ECG — upload PDF or image; mark intervals (PR, QRS, QTc) manually
Echocardiogram — structured fields: EF, LV dimensions, wall motion, valvular findings
Holter — 24/48/72 hour; arrhythmia summary
Stress ECG — protocol, METs achieved, ST changes, symptoms
Nuclear/MRI/CT — file upload and free text
All studies are listed in the Cardiac Studies timeline, sortable by date and type. Previous studies are visible during sessions for comparison.
Device registry
Track implanted cardiac devices:
Pacemaker — Model, serial number, lead details, date implanted, programmer settings
ICD — Model, serial number, therapy zones, shock history
CRT-D / CRT-P — Biventricular settings, LV lead position
Loop Recorder — Model, date inserted, extraction date
Device check appointments are tracked with a history of each interrogation result. Manufacturer recall alerts can be recorded against device serial numbers.
GDMT heart failure tracker
The GDMT tracker ensures patients with HFrEF are on all four pillars of guideline-directed medical therapy:
ACEi / ARB / ARNI — target: Sacubitril/Valsartan 97/103mg BD
Beta-blocker — target: Carvedilol 25mg BD
MRA — target: Eplerenone 50mg OD
SGLT2i — target: Dapagliflozin 10mg OD
Current doses are pulled from the patient active medication list. The checklist highlights gaps and contraindications.
