Print & Document Templates

Branded clinical documents — prescriptions, referral letters, invoices, treatment plans, discharge summaries, and certificates.

Configuring your clinic brand

All clinical documents are generated from a single branded template configured per clinic.


Accessing templates: Settings > Print Templates (or Clinic Management > Print Templates).


BRAND SETTINGS

  • Clinic logo: upload PNG or SVG (minimum 200×200px). Appears in the top-left of all documents.
  • Primary colour: hex code — used for headings, table headers, and accent elements.
  • Secondary colour: hex code — used for divider lines and sub-headings.
  • Font family: Cairo, Tajawal, Amiri (Arabic-optimised), or Calibri, Georgia, Helvetica.
  • Letter size: A4 (default) or US Letter.
  • Margins: top, right, bottom, left (mm).

CLINIC INFORMATION BLOCK

  • Clinic name (large, in primary colour)
  • Clinic address, phone, website
  • Clinic licence number (required for medical certificates and referral letters)
  • Doctor name, specialisation, and medical registration number (per-doctor config)
  • Official clinic stamp image (upload scanned PNG of the rubber stamp)

HEADER AND FOOTER

  • Header: logo + clinic info (default) or full-width banner image
  • Footer: configurable text (e.g. "This document is generated by Clinit EMR — clinit.app") + page number

RTL SUPPORT

When Arabic language is selected for a patient or document, the entire layout mirrors to right-to-left automatically. Mixed-language content (Arabic patient name + English drug names) handles bidirectional text via Unicode bidi algorithm.

Document types and contents

Seven clinical document types, each with specific content:


  1. PRESCRIPTION (Rx)

Header: clinic logo, doctor name and registration number

Patient: name, age, date

Medications: name, dose, form, route, frequency, duration, instructions (each on its own line)

Footer: doctor signature line, clinic stamp placeholder

QR code: links to the prescription in the patient portal for pharmacy verification


  1. VISIT SUMMARY

Vitals, chief complaint, history, examination findings

Diagnosis (ICD-10 code + description)

Management plan, follow-up date, instructions


  1. REFERRAL LETTER

Urgency banner: Routine / Urgent / Emergency (colour-coded)

Referring doctor and clinic, referred-to specialist and facility

Patient demographics, allergy alert chips

Reason for referral, relevant history, investigations summary

Clinical question (what you need the specialist to address)

Doctor signature and date


  1. INVOICE / WALKOUT STATEMENT

Clinic branding, invoice number, date

Line items: service, quantity, unit price, total

Subtotal, discount (EGP or %), VAT (if applicable), total

Payment method and change given (for cash)

Balance due, Paymob QR code for digital payment


  1. TREATMENT PLAN ESTIMATE

Itemised procedures with CDT codes, priority, assigned doctor, cost

Total estimate, patient sign-off section (name, date, signature line)


  1. DISCHARGE SUMMARY

Admission/visit dates, diagnosis, procedures performed

Medications on discharge with instructions

Follow-up appointments, referrals, emergency instructions
